Three peas in a pod!

One childhood memory I have is my parents always making a big celebration out of everything. Holidays were always over the top fun and no little occasion went by without us really enjoying the day. I always remember my mom making the last day of school special and so I wanted to do the same thing for Isabelle.

We decided that the most fun way to spend the last day of school afternoon would be with Isabelle's two best little girlfriends from Kindergarten. She invited Emily and Paloma to come over and to wear their swimsuits and the three of them, plus little sister Livi, played and played and laughed and laughed for hours. No one was more excited for the school year to be finished than Olivia and she was thrilled to make cookies for the party.


A few days before the "End of year party" Isabelle spent several minutes in her favorite store, Claire's, picking out the perfect BFF necklaces. She needed them to be for a threesome and she looked and thought about several sets trying to decide just which one was perfect for her and her friends. She was so proud to give the girls their necklaces when the party was over and we were surprised when both girls came with gifts to pass out to each other as well. One of the best things about the move to Houston and the beginning of school were these two little girls and their families. Now we are crossing our fingers for a miracle they get to enjoy the same teacher in 1st grade!!
