We just can't get enough!

It isn't very long after we return from our annual Disney trip before we get the bug to go back again. This year we decided to try a trip to the happy place a bit earlier and boarded a plane the last few days of January and into the first week of February. Tara met us in sunny California after quick morning flights for all of us and soon we were all smiles for days.  Our trip did not disappoint like usual and this was the first time that Olivia was both tall and brave enough to ride the fast and sometimes scary rollercoasters.  We ate all of our favorite foods, rode all of the best rides and watched each of our favorite shows.  The girls enjoyed a private tour of Minnie's house buy the mouse herself and we dined again with some of the most fun characters.

This trip was even more spectacular as Disney was celebrating its 60th Diamond Birthday.  Everything from the castle to the cookies were dazzling with diamonds and the Light the Night parade was exceptional.  The girls slept like babies at night and often fell asleep on our way back to the hotel at the end of the day.  One unique experience was being greeted by a friend of ours who flies with United, Greg, on our flight to California.  The girls were treated like royalty as he had them served breakfast on china and then brought candy and popcorn for snacks.  They welcomed them on the plane over the intercom and made a big fuss over our tiny girls.  Isabelle said she felt like they were famous and it just put the icing on an already favorite trip.

We are never ready to leave Disneyland or the California weather, but we already get a mean letter sent to us about attendance from the school district every year so alas, it was time to go.  We have found that the only thing that helps with the sting of leaving...is planning our next trip!
