This trip was even more spectacular as Disney was celebrating its 60th Diamond Birthday. Everything from the castle to the cookies were dazzling with diamonds and the Light the Night parade was exceptional. The girls slept like babies at night and often fell asleep on our way back to the hotel at the end of the day. One unique experience was being greeted by a friend of ours who flies with United, Greg, on our flight to California. The girls were treated like royalty as he had them served breakfast on china and then brought candy and popcorn for snacks. They welcomed them on the plane over the intercom and made a big fuss over our tiny girls. Isabelle said she felt like they were famous and it just put the icing on an already favorite trip.

We are never ready to leave Disneyland or the California weather, but we already get a mean letter sent to us about attendance from the school district every year so alas, it was time to go. We have found that the only thing that helps with the sting of leaving...is planning our next trip!
